Look For Smiles

In a world of endless pain

as we struggle to find our way.

As I stare through the ever-present rain

Ever hopeful for a sunny day.

Why is it

that we only see the bad.

The world hosts a plethora of emotions

and not just the ones sad.

There were days when,

something inside me would break.

Because of this greed around me

This corrupt world they make.

But against the corrupt they rise

the ones with a heart of gold.

The ones bold the ones wise

good into this world they mould.

So yes there is pain

Yes there are tears that flow.

Yet we have much to gain

Yet there are those that glow.

So look for Smiles

walk those extra miles,

For the ones who care

But remember,' good ' isn't rare.
